Shell Robot - Four-arm Shell-making Robot
The DJXS-4P four-arm shell-making robot (fifth-generation patented product) is designed to automate the mold shell-making process in precision investment casting. It integrates both mechanical and electrical systems to deliver high efficiency, consistency, and reduced labor intensity.
The mechanical system features a rotary base with four arms, each capable of lifting, swinging, and rotating. This allows the robot to perform shell-making operations such as picking, dipping, dripping, and sanding with precision.
The electrical system, controlled by a PLC and touchscreen interface, ensures fully automated operation. The stepping system controls the rotation of the turntable, arm movements, and shell rotation, providing accurate and repeatable process control.
With a maximum workpiece size of φ450 × 500 mm, weight capacity of 30 kg, and speed of up to 3–4 groups per minute, this shell-making robot significantly improves productivity. Designed for energy efficiency, it operates on 380V, 50Hz power with installed power of 9–11 kW, and features a compact footprint and stable structure.
